5.Will I have to leave my home whilst you work on my floors?

We do recommend this, so that you are not exposed to any odors in the stains or varnishes, or breathe in any dust that may gather when we sand the floors.

6.Who will install my hardwood floors?

We use highly-skilled and well-qualified employees, who are all experienced in working with wood flooring.

7.How long will it take for any finish you apply to dry?

Polyurethane finishes takes about 24 hours to dry. Water base finishes take approximately 3-4 hours to dry.

8.Does wood flooring provide good acoustics?

Definitely. Many churches, synagogues and music venues are now requesting wood floors, because of the positive way they respond to sound and hearing.

9.There are so many kinds of wood? How do I go about choosing one?

There will be different factors that you will take into account, depending on your specific needs These will probably include texture, grain, color and cost. We will be happy to advise you in detail, at a non-obligation consultation at your home.

10. How can I prevent scratching on my wood floor?

Make sure you dust, sweep and mop on a regular basis. Put throw rugs down in any area where there is a lot of foot traffic (e.g. hallways) and place felt pads under the legs of chairs and tables.
